Peter is interviewing Dr Rebekah Brennan on her research project "Voluntary Care in Ireland". Rebekah outlines the findings of the UCC research project and talks about the recommendations that are made.
The project, which started in 2018 was served by a national survey featuring interviews with 243 social workers, 20 solicitors, 6 focus groups and 5 children's advocates. There are future phases planned to include people with care experience. It is vital listening for students, academics, people with care experience, social workers and anyone who has an interest in the Care System in Ireland.
